Laureates of the II Muslim Magomaev International Vocalists Contest
I prize, title of Laureate Piyazov Zhenisbek (Bass baritone)
He was born on May 9, 1988 in Nukus (Uzbekistan).
In 2004 he entered the Zhapak Shamuratov Nukus School on the Vocal Department (the class of the teacher A.N.Kaliyeva). In 2007, he enrolled at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan to the department of the academic singing (with Professor S.A. Tsoy). In 2009 he was accepted as a trainee in the Alisher Navoi Opera and Ballet Theatre. He is the 1st prize winner of the Republican contest of SSUZ vocalist. In 2008-2009, he took part in folk festivals in France, Spain, Malaysia, and Portugal. He is the winner of the 1st prize at the XII International Competition «Kazakh’s Romansiada.» He is the winner of the 1st prize at the XIII Moscow International contest of young singers of Russian romance. He was awarded with the Medal of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov «Shuhrat» at the Independence Day of Uzbekistan (August 2010). In 2010, he was a member of the master classes of the International Music Academy of the CIS in Minsk. In 2010, at the V International Competition of Vocalists Bulbul in Baku, he won the II prize and was awarded with the special prize «The Hope of Azerbaijan.» In 2011-2012, he participated in an opera festival in Germany. I prize, title of Laureate Pliusnin Sergey ( Baritone) Sergey was born on February 2, 1978 in Perm (Russia). He graduated from Astrakhan State Conservatory with a degree in solo academic singing (Class of Tarasova N.K.) In 2010, he was a postgraduate of Moscow State Conservatory named for P. I. Tchaikovsky (Class of People’s Artist of Russia, Professor Loshak A. A.) In 2000-2003, he was a soloist of Astrakhan State Music Theatre. In 2005-2008, studied at G.Vishnevskaya Opera Centre, where he participated in a production of the following operas. As a soloist of the Centre, he participated in the festival «May Opera Evenings» in Skopje (Macedonia), I-Russia festival «Panorama of musical theater» in Omsk, Russian Culture Festival in South Africa, the festival «New Wanderers». Recipient of the prize of I International Contest of Baritones named after P.Lisitsian (Moscow 2008). Since 2009, he is a guest soloist of Bolshoi Theatre (Robert party in the opera «Iolantha» (Tchaikovsky), Dankayro in the opera «Carmen» (Bizet). In 2008, at the invitation of Placido Domingo participated in the contest «Operalia» in Canada, took part in the festival in memory of Mstislav Rostropovich in Colmar (France), in concerts of soloists of G. Vishnevskaya Opera Centre in Kennedy (Washington, USA), Berlin (Germany), in Festival «Le Voci della Citta» in Milan (Italy). In 2011, he performed Shchelkalov’s part in Musorgsky’s opera «Boris Godunov » at the G. Vishnevskaya Opera Centre. II prize, title of Laureate Sivko Anatoly ( Bass baritone) Anatoly was born on July 1, 1987, in Belarus. In 2008, he graduated from Molodechno Music College named after M. K. Oginsky with a major in academic singing and got accepted to the branch of the Belarusian State Academy of Music on the basis of Molodechno Music College. He is currently a fifth year student. Awards: 2008 – Grand Prix at the International Vocal Competition in Kohtla-Jarve (Estonia), at the International Competition of Vocalists named after O. Petrusenko in Kherson (Ukraine), the silver medal in the Second World Delphic Games in Saratov (Russia); 2009 – the winner of two awards (one not awarded) at the International Competition for Young Opera Singers named after C. Taev in Parnu (Estonia), the winner of the 1st prize at the International Competition of Vocalists named after A. Ivanov in Tver (Russia); 2009, 2012 – Winner of the Special Presidential Fund for talented youth. He worked as a guest singer in the opera studio of Amsterdam (Netherlands) in 2010. He took part in the project Salzburg Young Singers Project 2011. Anatoly participated in Nesterenko and Theresa Zilis-Gara workshops. He has worked with conductors such as V. Spivakov, V. Jurowski. In 2012, he performed solo at the V. Gergiev Festival in Mikkeli (Finland). Anatoly performed at the world-famous stages: «Concertgebouw» Amsterdam, «Berlin Concert House» Berlin, «Muzikverein» Graz. III Prize, title of Laureate Boldt Vladimir (Baritone) Vladimir was born on 30 January 1982 in Karaganda (USSR). His first performance was held on the stage of the Buryat State Academic Opera and Ballet House, where he performed Neapolitan songs, when he was 13. In 2009, Vladimir Boldt graduated from the conservatory in Berlin, where he learned from great singers such as Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Julia Varadi and Thomas Quasthoff. In 2008, German company «Koch Universal Music» has release his album «Du bist nie allein,» and Prague audience remembers the performance of Vladimir with Helena Vondrachkova at the Prague State Opera. In Moscow he made his debut in 2006 at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. Vladimir Boldt is an award winner of the international vocalist contests in Bulgaria, Portugal, and Germany. Now in Czech Republic and Slovakia, Vladimir’s new album called «Moje muzika» is being released. It includes songs from the repertoire of M.Magomaev translated into Czech language. He has opened his vocal center in Prague in 2012.
