Moscow, Tamara Sinyavskaya conducted training events for young vocalists

On 19 and 20 April the hall of V.I. Muradeli music school witnessed vocal training events of Tamara Ilyinichna Sinyavskaya, the People’s Artist of the USSR, principal singer of the Bolshoi Theatre, professor, head of GITIS vocal arts subdivision.
Active participants of training events included 14 young vocalists not only from Moscow and Saint-Petersburg, but also from Omsk, Rostov-on-Don, Saratov, Orenburg, Chelyabinsk.
“A lot of attenders of my training events later ask for my advice more than once. With some of them I develop a long standing communication, I am always glad to give any help within my capabilities. It is impossible to discover something new in singing practice because everybody has learnt the basics long ago. But there exist certain technical understanding that follows experience and continuous training. Young artists must be shown the direction of development; some others just need to structure their knowledge. It is a gigantic pleasure for me to touch every talent that approaches me. It is a great feeling and emotion”, said Tamara Ilyinichna.
Having performed arias participants of training events, with Tamara Sinyavskaya’s tactful guidance, made a detailed analysis of their performance and received invaluable professional advice from the worldwide opera stage star. Tamara Ilyinichna drew special attention of participants and attenders to the fact that it is necessary to look after correct production of sound, as well as to intonational, artistic and emotional presentation of the image.
Open training events gained full audience that included not only students of vocal arts subdivisions of music arts educational institutions but also vocal arts teachers and accompanists.
Tamara Ilyinichna’s spring training events have already become annual and attract more and more professional participants and spectators.
