Tamara Sinyavskaya held an open workshop for students who study in musical universities

About a hundred students from different musical universities from all over the country: from Kaliningrad and the Urals, including St. Petersburg and Moscow, came to get invaluable tips to improve their skills and to learn about the subtle nuances of vocal arias, led by Professor Sinyavskaya. Her most loyal fans and journalists came to listen and to talk with Tamara Sinyavskaya.

Professor Tamara Ilinichna Sinyavskaya managed to work with only a few singers, but using their example she was able to answer questions from all students. Particular attention was paid to vocal technique, performing style, and to the entering into the images of the hero or heroine.

"I do not create learning methods. I take workshops as an opportunity not just to meet and talk, but as a real opportunity to improve skills, and to help university students to cross the line between a student and a real artist. This is not a technique, it is my own beliefs, experience and years lived in the world of arts - shared Tamara Sinyavskaya – you cannot teach how to sing. Only life in which young singers are entering after receiving technical skills in school can do it. The task of the teacher is not to teach singing, but to give them the brains of a vocal singer, and to light the spark. It is quite difficult, but with patience and a fair share of inspiration, it is quite possible.”

Professor Sinyavskaya pays a great attention to the educational work, since 2006 she is the head of the vocal department at The Russian University of Theatre Arts (GITIS). GITIS students call Tamara Ilinichna “A teacher from God”, and to go to the workshop of a master of the Russian opera for singers from other schools and other cities is a big honor. When the workshop was over, all participants were interested, when they will have an opportunity to chat with Tamara Ilinichna. They expressed the desire to repeat such productive and interesting workshop of the People’s Artist.
