Entire country remembers Muslim on his anniversary.

From early morning admirers of Muslim Magometovich’s talent carried flower bouquets to his monument in Moscow at the intersection of Eliseevsky and Voznesensky lanes. Muslim Magomaev’s friends came to honor his memory, including Svetlana Morgunova, Lubov Sliska and his colleague Zaur Tutov. Magomaev’s widow Tamara Sinyavskaya, as always, spent this day in Baku, Muslim’s hometown.

“Muslim used to always say that Azerbaijan was his father and Russia was his mother. By our long-standing tradition, I always spend his birthday in Baku, where many of his friends and relatives live,” said Tamara Ilinichna.

Muslim Magomaev is remembered and respected by people living in different cities and countries, but they all share one thing which is great and boundless love for the artist’s talent. He became a legend during his life, and still remains the only singer in the world with a unique and inimitable voice, able to perform both pop and classical pieces.
