Muslim Magomaev’s friends and colleagues will come up to his Moscow monument in order to pay tribute to this great performer
Friends and colleagues of a great musician Muslim Magomaev are getting together in the Moscow downtown on 25th October 2013 in order to honour the memory of this great Russian and Azerbaijan singer and composer.
Five years have passed since the master of amazing voice and unmatched talent worshipped by millions went to never ending sleep. True worshipers and relatives of Muslim Magometovich will pay tribute and lay flowers at his monument located in the mini park at the crossroads of Voznesenskiy and Eliseevskiy sidestreets. Public official and political figure Liubov Sliska, People’s Artist of Russia Svetlana Morgunova, founders of the Muslim Magomaev Musical and Cultural Heritage Fund Aras and Emin Agalarov, Doctor of Medical Sciences Leonid Roshal and a lot of other people are coming to support the singer’s widow Tamara Sinyavskaya and show their respect to this great musician. The meeting at the Muslim Magomaev’s monument is scheduled for 25th October 3 p.m. Address: crossroads of Voznesenskiy and Eliseevskiy sidestreets.

Welcome to the website of the Muslim Magomaev Musical and Cultural Heritage Fund. On the pages of this website you’ll be able to get acquainted with projects that are planned to be implemented by the Fund. One of the key goals is to prepare and hold the International Contest for Vocal Singers named after M. Magomaev. The starting point of this idea was M. Magomaev Memorial Evening held on 25 October 2009 on the stage of the most modern concert hall — Crocus City Hall built by his friend Aras Agalarov in the memory of Muslim. The idea of this music project appeared absolutely naturally. There are many contests for vocal singers in the world but none of them combines participation of singers capable to perform both classical repertoire and modern pop music. This is what Muslim Magomaev successfully combined in his work. On our website you will find information on the Contest, international jury and contestants.
