The Bolshoi Theatre of Russia dedicates the Boris Godunov opera to Tamara Sinyavskaya

The Bolshoi Theatre of Russia dedicates the Boris Godunov opera which is held on 1st of October 2013 to the outstanding opera performer and the People’ Artist of the USSR Tamara Ilyinichna Sinyavskaya who celebrates her big birthday this year.
Tamara Ilyinichna graduated from the Music College at the Moscow Conservatoire and later graduated from vocal school of GITIS. She was invited to the Bolshoi Theatre and became a principal singer. Wide popularity came to her after impressing victory at international vocalists contests held in Bulgaria and Belgium and victory at the 4th International Tchaikovsky Contest. Practical training at the La Scala Milano theatre was a great help for a young artist. Tamara Sinyavskay had a uniquely beautiful mezzo soprano voice that allowed her to play a big role in various voice parts of Russian and foreign opera repertoire: Ratmir and Vanya, Olga and Marina Mnishek, Liubasha and Marfa, Laura and Konchakovna, Carmen and Azuchena… Prior to the show Tamara Sinyavskaya will be greeted at the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre by Liudmila Shvetsova, the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, and Vladimir Urin, the general director of the Bolshoi Theatre.
