“To our beloved Artist…” Gala concert of winners of M.Magomaev International Vocalists ContestThe long expected Gala Concert of participants of the Muslim Magomaev Vocalists Contest will be held in the Moscow International House of Music on 9th October. The most outstanding vocalists including Vladimir Boldt, Damir Zakirov, Tatyana Zakirova, Maxim Katyrev, Eugene Kungurov, Anatoliy Sivko, Ilya Silchukov and Zhenisbek Piyazov the winner of the Grand Prix of the II Muslim Magomaev International Vocalists Contest, are coming on one stage in order to make noncompetitive performance and show all of their skill in front of big audience. It was a challenging task for young participants of the Contest to show their gift and skill in front of the professional jury panel that was presided, as it has always has been, by Tamara Sinyavskaya, the People’s Artist of the USSR, because high level of qualification demanded from vocalists during the Contest is based on outstanding talent and artistry of Muslim Magomaev, the People’s Artist of the USSR. However the stricter are qualification demands the more valuable is victory at the Contest. The highly respected audience of the concert will be presented with a program consisting of pieces from various genres: R. Wagner, G. Puccini, G. Donizetti, I. Kalman, P. Tchaikovsky, G.Verdi, A.Pakhmutova, A. Babajanyan, G. Sviridov, M. Magomaev, N. Valente and others. A concert dedicated to the beloved Artist is a memorable present for worshipers of good music and Muslim Magomaev’s talent. Welcome to the website of the Muslim Magomaev Musical and Cultural Heritage Fund. On the pages of this website you’ll be able to get acquainted with projects that are planned to be implemented by the Fund. One of the key goals is to prepare and hold the International Contest for Vocal Singers named after M. Magomaev. The starting point of this idea was M. Magomaev Memorial Evening held on 25 October 2009 on the stage of the most modern concert hall — Crocus City Hall built by his friend Aras Agalarov in the memory of Muslim. The idea of this music project appeared absolutely naturally. There are many contests for vocal singers in the world but none of them combines participation of singers capable to perform both classical repertoire and modern pop music. This is what Muslim Magomaev successfully combined in his work. On our website you will find information on the Contest, international jury and contestants.
